The ASAN e-visa is $20 plus a $9 service fee, approved in three working days, with no embassy visit and no biometrics. The three ways Indian travellers lose money on it have nothing to do with eligibility.

On 30 August 2026 President Mirziyoyev announced a 30-day visa-free regime for Indian citizens. There is still no decree, no effective date, and no change on the official portal — so here is what actually gets you into Tashkent this week.

Since June 2025 an Indian passport enters the Philippines without a visa and without a fee. The catch is in two words in the policy — non-extendible, non-convertible — and in the fact that the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi still publishes the old rule.

An Indian passport pays IDR 500,000 for the visa and IDR 150,000 for Bali itself, to two different governments through two different portals. Extending your stay now means turning up in person, and 60 days is the wall.

Kenya abolished visas and replaced them with a $30 authorisation an Indian passport still has to hold before boarding. A $50,000 insurance rule is suspended until a court hearing in September, and the certificate that matters most is the one India wants when you fly home.

Singapore charges ₹2,100 for the visa and fixes the agent fee at ₹1,300 — but an Indian applicant cannot file it directly with ICA. The visa also does not decide how long you may stay, and a new passport voids it.

Indian passports enter Malaysia without a visa for 30 days, but the exemption has a published expiry date, the counter expects a hotel booking, and the free arrival card cannot be filed more than three days ahead.

India is on Sri Lanka’s 40-country free list, so the tourist ETA costs nothing. It is still a visa you must hold before boarding, the 30 days do not restart on your second entry, and no official page says when the waiver ends.

An ordinary Indian passport still gets 60 visa-free days in Thailand. A signed 30-day replacement takes effect 15 days after it appears in the Royal Gazette. The arrival card is mandatory and free.
